...Bright as the sun­shine break­ing from the dark­ness.

Lord God Al­migh­ty....

...O Je­sus, keep us in Thy sight,

The joys of day are ov­er;...

...All through the day.

And when we die,...

...Banish false doc­trine from our ears.

And let us be re­newed with­in:...

...Lord, give Thine an­gels ev­ery day

And bid them ev­ery ev­en­ing keep...

...He’ll be with us to the end,

We will fol­low Je­sus....

...Let Thy gra­cious pre­sence cheer us,

When the night of death comes o’er us,...

...Now we lay us down to rest;

Let no foe our peace mo­lest;...

...Pardon our of­fens­es,

Make us, like true child­ren,...

...Secure from all our fears;

Till morn­ing light ap­pears....
