I’ll praise Him more and more!...

Praise Him and testify in the church....

...I’ll sing for Je­sus while I’ve breath,

His lov­ing­kind­ness af­ter death,...

...I nev­er praised the Lord before,

I spurned His grace, I broke His laws,...

...Struggles for its swift re­move;

In a nob­ler strain abo­ve!...

...I’ll sing of His won­der­ful mer­cy to me,

I’ll sing of sal­va­tion at home and abroad,...

...He smiles and He loves me, and helps me to sing;

While riv­ers of plea­sure my spir­it shall cheer....
