A new manhood He began—...

...Veiled in flesh we know Thee now,

Sing we then with heart and voice,...

...O Thou, who didst not scorn be­low,

And us Thy Fa­ther’s glo­ry show,...

...I must be about His bu­si­ness,

I can see Him hum­bly kneel­ing,...

...Clear Thou our cloud­ed view;

We give Thee hon­or due....

...On this earth in life and conduct

Now in heaven with this nature...
