Confess your sins and hum­bly bow!

His migh­ty grace He will im­part

His blood will cleanse your sin­ful heart.

Oh! can it be you will re­fuse

To listen to such gra­cious news

And shut your ears

and close your eyes

And die the death that nev­er dies?
