Fountain of Love

There’s a fount­ain that flows

Where the light ev­er glows

In the beau­ti­ful land of the skies;

’Tis the fount­ain of love

In the re­gions above

And the gleam on its stream nev­er dies.

From the great throne of God

Flows this soul-cleans­ing flood

Gliding on in its pla­cid re­pose;

They who drink of its tide

Shall in peace e’er ab­ide

Saved from sin and re­deemed from its woes.

When the heav­ens shall rend

And the Lord shall des­cend

To re­ceive all the ran­somed above

O the glo­ri­ous time

As the home bells shall chime

And we meet ’round that fount­ain of love.
