His won­drous works with praise re­cord

The on­ly God

the sov­er­eign Lord

His wis­dom made the heav­ens be

He spread the earth above the sea

Praise Him whose sun doth bring the day

The moon and stars His might dis­play

He helped us in our deep­est woe

He ran­somed us from all our foes

Each crea­ture’s need He doth sup­ply
