that hear­est pray­er

Kindly for Thy peo­ple care

Who on Thee alone de­pend

Save us

Men of dig­ni­ty and pow­er

Let not them Thy flock de­vour

Poison our sim­pli­ci­ty

Drag us from our trust in Thee.
