In my weak­ness

Help me ful­ly to rely

On Thy good and faith­ful pro­mise;

Guide me with Thine eye.

O my bless­èd Sav­ior

Let Thy Spir­it seal my own

Till in heav­en­ly per­fect­ion

I shall know as I am known.

Oft the bur­dens seem too hea­vy

And the cause I can­not see;

Then I long to drop the bur­dens

And from sor­row flee.

When the way looks dark be­fore me

And I seem to walk alone

Hear me say

’mid dark­est sha­dows

Let Thy will be done.
