I Shall Be Changed

Filled with my sin to the Sav­ior I came

This pow­er has changed me

All praise to His name;

Grace all suf­fi­cient He gives me each day;

Trusting

I fol­low where He leads the way.

O what a change since He came to my heart!

O what a change since He bade sin de­part!

O what a change Je­sus wrought in my soul!

O what a change since His blood makes me whole!

Changed all my grief to a heart full of song

And now I’m con­fid­ing in Him all day long;

Tender com­pas­sion and love He has shown

Cleansed me and healed me

And called me His own.

When through the por­tals of glo­ry I’ve passed

I then shall be changed to His im­age at last;

I shall be like Him in beau­ty to shine

Ever to live in His pre­sence di­vine.
