In this world be­low

Striving to be help­ful

Everywhere we go;

Asking those who’re wea­ry

With their load of sin

To heed Je­sus’ call­ing

And let Him come in.

Hear Him knock­ing now

Let Him not de­part

Open wide the door

And ask Him to en­ter

And dwell in your hearts.

Working for our Sav­ior

Every day and hour

Making known His good­ness

Mercy

peace and pow­er;

Showing those who wan­der

In the paths of sin

The good things He’s pro­mised

If they let Him in.

With a heart that’s strong

Helping Him with good

To ov­er­come the wrong;

Pointing those in dark­ness

O’er and o’er again

To Je­sus

who asks them

To let Him come in.
