Now all the bells of East­er ring

Their voic­es seem to say

Come

ce­le­brate the wond­rous thing

That God has wrought to­day!

Alleluia! Alleluia!

Let the East­er an­them ring;

Alleluia! Al­le­lu­ia!

Glory to our ris­en king.

For Je­sus Christ has ris’n to­day

To save and bless His own

And all the faith­ful hom­age pay

Before His al­tar throne.

And we

with all who love Him well

Our joy­ful hymns will raise

For child­ren may the chor­us swell

Of thank­ful­ness and praise.

Now all the bells of East­er ring;

With haste the call ob­ey;

For all the Church ado­res her king

Upon His fest­al day.
