Down at the cross

on Cal­v’ry’s mount­ain

Where mer­cies flow

I plunged in the re­deem­ing fount­ain

Washed whit­er than the snow.

When no­thing in the whole cre­ation

Could pur­chase peace

My Sav­ior brought His free sal­va­tion

When Je­sus saved my soul.

Darkness has fled:

Daily by Him I’m fed.
