The Call to Rally

We’ve heard the call to ral­ly

And we hast­en to ob­ey;

When Je­sus needs our serv­ice

We will heed with­out de­lay;

Redeemed with His own pre­cious blood

On rug­ged Cal­va­ry

We yield our all to Him.

Rally! is our watch­word

Ral­ly is our song!

All our time and all our pow­er to Christ be­long!

Rally

then with glad­ness

ral­ly with a cheer

We shall win the bat­tle

for our cap­tain’s near!

We’ll ga­ther ’round His ban­ner

Glorious em­blem of the right

The sym­bol of His truth and love

Agleam with ho­ly light;

We’ll chal­lenge ev­ery ev­il

We will bat­tle in His might

And vic­to­ry shall be ours.

We’ll help to save the fall­en

From the snares of doubt and sin

We’ll teach the youth to spurn the wrong

And choose the pure and clean;

We’ll go in Je­sus’ pre­cious name

And bring the world to Him

And crown Him Lord for aye.
