Leave the fu­ture to our Fa­ther

Trust Him still to care for thee;

Living brave­ly in the pre­sent

As He gives thee light to see.

All thy days are in His keep­ing

Be they dark or be they fair

And He watch­es

nev­er sleep­ing

Holds thee in His ten­der care.

Take thy life as He may give it

For He know­eth what is best;

Every day shall show thee du­ty

Every night gives sweet­est rest.

He will teach thee all thou need­est

Guidance give from day to day;

In the sun­shine or the sha­dows

Look to Him

for He’s the way.
