Still to Thee I’m cling­ing;

Naught on earth can give me rest

Only sor­row bring­ing.

Brighter scenes in Heav’n await

For my rap­tured vi­sion;

Soon I’ll pass the pear­ly gate

To the fields ely­si­an.
