We hom­age pay to Christ

our king

With grate­ful hearts our trib­ute bring;

He died up­on dark Cal­va­ry

His blood has cleansed and made me free.

We hom­age pay the Sav­ior true

Who guides our feet along the way;

We hom­age pay be­cause ’tis due

Our Lord and king

through eve­ry day.

We hom­age pay in deep­est love

The glo­ri­ous One who reigns ab­ove;

More per­fect­ly His won­drous fame

To all the world we will pro­claim.

We hom­age pay be­fore Thy throne

Rejoiced to be in truth Thine own;

E’en though Thy name we praise

ad­ore

Each day we long to love Thee more.
