Welcome Praise

Our prais­es we of­fer to Je­sus to­day

For mer­cies and bless­ings en­rich­ing our way;

And we wel­come His child­ren who join in ac­cord

To en­deav­or to serve Him

our glo­ri­ous Lord.

We will sing the love of Je­sus

Join with an­gel songs above;

Chant His prais­es

tell His bless­ing

Spread abroad His won­drous love.

We lean on His pro­mis­es ma­ny and sure

Lay hold on His teach­ings so faith­ful and pure;

And we pray with as­sur­ance that Je­sus will hear

And de­liv­er be­liev­ers from bond­age and fear.

In spir­it He leads us and gives a new song

Uplifts our whole life

makes us hap­py and strong;

By His pow­er He shields us from dan­ger and care

By His love He im­pels us love’s bur­dens to bear.

Then join hearts and voices to publ­ish His praise

Exhorting each oth­er to walk in His ways;

We’ll ex­alt in His tri­umphs and praise His great might

Till we shout hal­le­lu­jahs in man­sions of light.
